Settings / Surrounding are beautiful and great location for ferry port

No pitch markings so we were encroached by surrounding pitches / no privacy as pitches all open

de locatie, handig gelegen tussen de D-daystranden
Betere indeling, wij hadden gereserveerd voor een vouwwagen van 9 x 5 en stonden tot op het midden van het terrein. De overburen konden daardoor niet volledig opbouwen! Weinig waterpunten. Koud water bij de douches en het afwassen. Dit aangegeven bij de receptie, daar zegt men doodleuk, dat het niet kan. Sorry.?! Afscheiding tussen de plaatsen kan beter. Meer aanplanten. Met wat boompjes, voor meer schaduw . Daarnaast vinden wij een campingwinkel en receptie die om 9.00 open gaan, voor een camping laat.

NIet van toepassing, wij kwamen met eigen vouwwagen
Het minst leuk was het koude water, een tweede punt was het gebrek aan waterpunten en hoe die geplaatst zijn.

the site provided a peaceful setting for our stay in Normandy, the site it superb, with beautiful surroundings and well manager grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well managed.

we were able to book the pitch we wanted, and it provided a comfortable base for our exploration of the area. Electrical plug-in was faultless, and the toilet and shower facilities were cleaned regularly.
we didn't like the fact that we had to leave to come home so soon!

We love this site and have visited regularly since 1996. I taught my granddaughter to dive in the pool just like her mum did about 30 years ago! The staff always appear happy and are polite and helpful.
We love it as it is but the gate to the pool slams quickly!

Daar gaan eten was een slecht idee, ruim 2 uur moeten wachten op een simpele hamburger met wat frietjes. Tip neem personeel aan voor de keuken!

The château is beautiful and full of character. We stayed in a spacious family room overlooking the gardens, pool and valley. Thanks to the shaded side of the château, we could keep the large windows open all night without the room getting too warm. The beds, including our son’s folding bed, were very comfortable. The renovated bathroom was spacious and modern. The estate is wonderfully peaceful at night, and breakfast was excellent, served by a very kind and welcoming lady.
Our only disappointment was the owner’s communication. We may simply have caught him during a stressful period, but he often seemed impatient rather than welcoming. Check-in felt rushed, the advertised Wi-Fi was unavailable, and when we asked about it we were told to enjoy a screen-free holiday instead. We also heard him speaking quite sharply to children and other guests. The property is wonderful, but a warmer, more relaxed approach would make guests feel much more welcome.

It's been many years since were were at Martragny and we love what they've done with the place. This time was just an overnight stay on our way home, but we have since pledged to return for a longer stay. We called in the afternoon to say we were arriving late (car trouble...) but Basile put us immediately at ease and clearly nothing was too much trouble for him: "It is your holiday, please don't worry", he said. Even offered to find us food if the restaurant was closed when we arrived (it wasn't). Great stuff. Tapestry or no, we'll be back!

Prachtige locatie, leuk zwembad, ruime plekken en heel goed sanitair. Goede baguettes en zelfs een aantal regen douches met veel warm water.
Overigens douches in sanitair gebouw misten warm water.

De camping ademt een prettige sfeer uit. De staplaatsen zijn goed, voldoende ruimte. Het sanitair is nieuw en wordt goed schoongehouden. Prima restaurant en fijne medewerkers. Wij hebben hier met veel plezier gestaan.

l'acceuil chaleureux et spontanné nous restera certainement en memoire, ainsi que les soirées assis dans le restaurant, l'équipe attentive et les repas de qualité et gout qu'on n'expecterati pas sur un emplacement camping. Merci beaucoup, on reviendra avec plaisir.

On a aimé l'acceuil chaleureux, ainsi que la petite épicerie, mais surtout on a aimé la restauration avec l'équipe très attentive et les plats delicieux.
un petit point c'est de ne pas pouvoir regler la temperature de l'eau dans les douches. "But thats complaining on a high level"
