Il campeggio è ben distribuito e presenta una buona privacy tra le piazzole, che si presentano ampie e ben organizzate. Inoltre il campeggio offre svariati servizi per tutte le tipologie di clienti, il che ha reso molto confortevole il nostro soggiorno.

In generale il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. L'unica osservazione sulla struttura è relativa ai bagni: potrebbe essere utile aggiungere cestini all'interno delle singole toilettes, soprattutto per i servizi femminili.

In generale il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. I servizi di cui abbiamo usufruito sono stati molto buoni e hanno soddisfatto tutte le nostre necessità.

L'unica pecca che abbiamo riscontrato nell'assegnazione della piazzola, nonostante l'ottima distribuzione, era essendo situata sotto diversi alberi popolati da piccioni, abbiamo dovuto ogni giorno pulire più volte la tenda e la macchina dalle loro evacuazioni, ma di ciò non se ne può fare una colpa alla gestione del camping.

Campsite right next to river in lovely location close to the small town. Great cycle paths along the Loire. Swimming pool is great too but it sadly closes on 1st October but we did manage to swim on its last day.

Excellent site on the banks of the Loire and just a few minutes walk to the pretty village of Montsoreau and ideal location to explore the region. Good facilities and friendly staff.

Nous n'avons passé qu'une seule nuit au camping. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil.

Merci beaucoup pour votre retour Nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié votre bivouac, son confort, la propreté de l’hébergement ainsi que notre petit-déjeuner. Nous transmettrons également votre gentil mot à l’équipe. Concernant la circulation, elle peut effectivement être plus ou moins perceptible selon les jours et les conditions, notre camping étant situé à l’entrée de Montsoreau. Nous sommes désolés pour les odeurs rencontrées dans les sanitaires. Notre bloc sanitaire est nettoyé deux fois par jour, mais il est aujourd’hui vieillissant et une rénovation complète est justement prévue cet hiver pour la saison 2027. Enfin, les 10 € correspondent à des frais de réservation fixes, indépendamment de la durée du séjour. Nous comprenons qu’ils puissent paraître importants pour une seule nuit, mais ils correspondent au traitement de la réservation et permettent également de garantir votre hébergement, ce qui est particulièrement utile en période de forte fréquentation. Nous étions en vélo et nous avons donc hébergé dans une tente bivouac. Les matelas y sont confortables et les nuits était fraîches, la couette disponible fût bien utile. L'hébergement est propre. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et le service agréable.

Par contre, beaucoup de bruits de circulation. J'ai séjourné dans ce camping il y a quelques années et je ne me souvenais pas de ce bruit. Je pense que c'est la circulation sur le pont avec répercussion par les eaux de la Loire. J'avais oublié mes boules kiès. Tant pis! Par contre, très mauvaises odeurs dans les toilettes femmes. Les frais de dossier sont chers pour une seule nuit (10 euros). Et je pense qu'ils sont identiques quelque soit la durée du séjour C'est déjà un point que j'avais soulevé lors de mon dernier passage.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed our swimming pool and the spaciousness of your pitch. You’re right that our main sanitary block is showing its age, and a complete renovation is planned this winter for the 2027 season. Regarding the grounds and vegetation, this summer has been particularly difficult, with several heatwaves and restrictions preventing us from watering and, during certain periods, from trimming the hedges and vegetation. Unfortunately, after weeks of very high temperatures, the grass and plants inevitably suffered. We understand that the campsite may therefore have looked a little less green and tidy than usual during your stay, but these conditions were unfortunately beyond our control.

We enjoyed this, our second stay at Camping L’Isle Verte, and will definitely return. The site is in an excellent position on the banks of the Loire with the Velo de Loire running past its doorstep. Perfect for cyclists to enjoy the local area with lots of choices of routes. We enjoyed using the swimming pool which had recently been refurbished. Staff are all very friendly and helpful.

We thought the site was looking a bit tired and unkempt. Our pitch was absolutely covered in a mountain of leaves which we had to sweep away to be able to pitch. The ladies toilets are awful, with a sickening smell of urine. We understand these are to be renovated so hopefully that will improve. Likewise with the showers, they are not very efficient.

We have been fully booked throughout this period, with guests leaving and arriving every day, which can make it difficult to keep every pitch perfectly clear of fallen leaves between stays. Regarding the size, your pitch was actually over 100m². Our Loire-side pitches do vary in shape and layout, so some can appear smaller than others even when their surface area is similar. As you mentioned, our main sanitary block is showing its age and a complete renovation is planned for next season. We’re very much looking forward to this improvement too. Lovely position pitch overlooking the Loire with lots to see and watch.

We thought our pitch compared to other ‘Edge of the Loire’ pitches was a lot smaller, even though we assume we paid the same price. Pitch condition was not good being totally covered in a mountain of leaves.

Lovely site with large pitches and good facilities next to the river and a useful, small village. Nice pool for adults and good bar, restaurant if you want to stay on site. Very close to a number of caves and vineyards - though note some noise from vintners next door during harvest.

Friendly staff great location

Swimming pool had no hand rail to assist with entry and exit from the water so made it unsuitable for my wife to use which was a shame as the pool aera was excellent

Site is nicely located for visiting Montsoreau and Turquant on foot and is very popular with UK guests! Staff are friendly and the onsite restaurant/service is good. Sanitaires are clean/tidy with soap/paper, there is a washing up and laundry area and a separate main service point.

Some pitches are close together and the river front ones do get the bikes/walkers passing through. It is quite an expensive site, plus there is a €10 booking fee if booked in advance/online, which is expensive for a short stay! Enjoyed the surrounding area, but would probably not stay again.

Regarding the €10 booking fee, this is a fixed administration fee and is clearly shown before the booking is confirmed. We understand that it can feel more significant for a short stay, but booking in advance guarantees that a pitch is reserved for you. We were actually fully booked throughout September, so advance booking was particularly useful during this period.
