Zonder reservering en op een volle camping werden we toch op een tijdelijk plekje gezet. Later naar een gewone plek verplaatst. We wilden een paar dagen blijven maar zijn langer gebleven omdat de omgeving mooi is, er vanaf de camping leuk te wandelen is rondom het dorp én omdat de eigenaren zo aardig zijn. Persoonlijk betrokken, het bij je caravan ontvangen van de pizza is een belevenis en ze houden goed in de gaten of iedereen tevreden is. Het sanitair is nog van de oude municipal stijl maar schoon en voorzien van een heerlijk muziekje. De douche is geweldig met charme door het trekkoord.

Jammer dat het zwembad alleen in juli en augustus open is maar dat is van de gemeente dus buiten invloed van de camping. Had fijn geweest om te kunnen zwemmen. Helaas alleen in het weekend broodservice

Hartelijk dank dat u de tijd heeft genomen om uw ervaring met ons te delen. We vonden het fijn u te mogen verwelkomen, ook al zat de camping vol, en we waren extra blij dat u uiteindelijk besloot uw verblijf te verlengen. Het is geweldig om te horen dat u de prachtige omgeving, de wandelingen die direct vanaf de camping starten, de netheid van de glamping-accommodatie en onze vriendelijke, attente service heeft gewaardeerd. Wat het zwembad betreft: u heeft helemaal gelijk dat dit alleen in juli en augustus geopend is. Het beheer ligt bij de gemeentelijke samenwerkingsorganisatie 'Communauté de Communes des Coëvrons'; de opening hangt af van de beschikbaarheid van het vereiste personeel (receptionist, toezichthouder en badmeester) – factoren waar wij helaas geen invloed op hebben. Wat betreft de broodservice: deze is in het hoogseizoen (juli en augustus) inderdaad van dinsdag tot en met zondag beschikbaar, terwijl deze in april, mei en juni alleen in het weekend wordt aangeboden, afgestemd op de bezoekersaantallen in die maanden. We kijken ernaar uit u in de toekomst opnieuw te mogen verwelkomen – wellicht een volgende keer in het hoogseizoen, zodat u ook van het zwembad en de dagelijkse broodservice kunt genieten!

De plekken hebben afscheiding door bossage. Vanaf onze plek ook wat uitzicht op het landschap rondom. Plekken zijn diep en wat smal waardoor je niet in de breedte kan staan en het iets opgesloten voelt.

Beautiful pitch, lovely friendly welcome from owners. Very clean facilities plus snack bar and drinks. Minutes from Saint Suzanne which is a pretty, interesting place. Excellent value and would definitely return. Highly recommended

Vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung! Wir freuen uns sehr, dass Ihnen die ruhige Atmosphäre unseres Campingplatzes sowie unsere Pizzen und der Lieferservice gefallen haben. Gerne möchten wir auch einen Punkt bezüglich der Dusche erläutern. Das System mit dem Zugseil wurde eingeführt, um den Wasserverbrauch zu senken und einen verantwortungsvollen Umgang mit dieser kostbaren Ressource zu fördern. Seit dem Austausch der Duschköpfe haben wir sehr positives Feedback erhalten, da der Wasserstrahl nun als angenehm und effizient empfunden wird. Da Sie nur eine Nacht bei uns verbracht und die Dusche einmal genutzt haben, bedauern wir es sehr, dass das System keinen besseren Eindruck bei Ihnen hinterlassen hat. Wir hoffen, Sie bei einem zukünftigen Besuch in Sainte-Suzanne erneut für einen längeren Aufenthalt bei uns begrüßen zu dürfen!

Very friendly welcome and explanation about the site. Also recommended a walk into the medieval village which we weren't going to do after a long journey. However we did go in the end and were so pleased we did. It truly is worth seeing, so an excellent recommendation.

We only stayed one night on our way back to Caen, so on this short stop over could not fault it and would come back again.
